Default 2006 IS250 AWD fuel economy

Hi there,

I recently bought an 06 IS250. Does anyone know what the average amount of clicks you get per full tank.

I am getting around 410km per tank. I think that's pretty bad - is anyone else getting the same amount.

My 2007 IS 250 AWD gets about 350 miles of range or about 563 km of range.

I get around 300+/- in city/winter weather, and 390+ in summer weather. It varies by weather. Miles not KM.

Its best to try to estimate your gas milage by hand first because the MPG on the dash is not always accurate. It changes depending on the way you drive and on fill ups. I've filled and have had the dash say 250 miles till empty, drive about 80+ miles highway and then have it say 290 next time i restart the car

i tanked up today and had 460km on my trip odometer. thats with a can of seafoam in the tank as well (i always seafoam with every oil change)... so your 400 is not totally out in left field.. about half of my km are highway as well

overkill and ur going to degrade any internal gaskets and rubber much faster
especially when you putting whole bottle in the gas tank....

once every 50,000KM is more than sufficient with 1/3 bottle in engine oil, 1/3 in gas tank, and optional 1/3 in a vacuum hose (brake booster, etc.)

Filled up yesterday . Odometer said 448km. In the winter I average between 10.5 - 12.1 l/100km depending on how I am driving.

^ Minato, are you really getting 490km per tank in the winter?! As a fellow 2008 IS250 AWD also in the GTA, I'm envious! I'd say I get approx 400. Never push it too close to empty though ...

yup, 100%
I refill when I have 65-55 range left
I used to live downtown when I got car and mileage was even better then.
do you follow regular maintainance schedule?
change plugs , air filter , yada, yada yada.....
I also use 0w20
when I fill up I get 600+ on mileage , when next I fill up will take a pic and post
got a pic of 6.9km/L tho , this was during the summer
also depends on how heavy your right foot is ? I drive like a grandma now

^ Minato, I'm shocked and envious! Though I don't much trust the Tank Avg read out on the display, in winter at best I'm happy if I see it in the 11L/100km range. Granted, I'm likely 70city/30highway (because even when I'm on the highway, traffic is bumper to bumper). Car has 103k on it.
Had the plugs changed in the summer, new Blitz air filter, regular oil changes and maintenance, and I'm a bit Jekyll and Hyde with my driving habits: most of the time I also drive like a grandma (I'm a bit of a hypermiler), but every now and then, I switch to PWR mode and open it up. On a long trip that's almost all highway speed, I can get the display showing approx 7-8L/100km.
From what I had read in the past on this topic, my mileage stats aren't too out of the ordinary? But I sure wish they were more like yours.
