Default 90k Maintenance $625

When I called to make appt I was told $625. I asked if it included the timing belt and was told yes. It sounded too good to be true and it was.

Tom Wood Indianapolis has their own maitenance schedule for Lexus cars. Their schedule replaces the timing belt at 75K, the plugs at 60k. They also do not change the brake fluid or a/c filter at 90k. This was the first time I had my car in for regular maintenance at a lexus dealer, so I assumed they followed the lexus schedule. They have offered a discount on getting the timing belt replaced.

The reason I'm posting this is because I see a lot of posts comparing prices for maintenance at toyota vs lexus dealers. To get an accurate comparison be specific about what service will be performed, before you arrive.

Yes, I'll take it back to Tom Wood for the rest of the work next month. The services is good and the people are freindly.

Default In California...

I am calling around for the 90K service on my 98 GS4. Longo Lexus quoted me a similar price to yours, and they told me that it includes the timing belt.

I called several other dealers, and the quote ranged from $800 ~ $1600, so I was skeptical of Longo's claim.

Well, I plan to take it in within the next month, and will see if Longo sticks to their quote.

get it in writting. Tom Wood replaced the serpetine belt. So, the service advisor may have heard timing belt and thought serpentine belt.

I just called for a quote at a Colorado Lexus dealer $1,500 - and an additional $600 if the timing belt needs replaces. Is there an online source that outlines what services are recommended at 90,000 miles?
