Does anyone think lexus will ever throw a v8 in the 3is? Maybe like a 4.8 or something thus
Forming an is480. Since the 2014 isf is special order only maybe they could incorporate the 4.8 in the new is. I'm curious about this idea. It seems logical to me. I am really hoping for a V8 since I'm in a 2008 isf now, love the power but like new body. If not hopefully a highpower V6 twin turbo.
Give me your thoughts guys!!!

Of course it possible! I actually special ordered my 3IS with the 4.8L ISF V8 engine. Let me tell you, what a difference!! Just tell your local dealership you want this option and they'll put in the order for you.

 

Since Lexus is selling every IS 350F they export to the US, with an underwhelming V6 that can be smoked by a 5-year old WRX 4-banger, don't get your hopes up. If you're interested in speed, look elsewhere.

I actually want to see a serious CT-F, not the CT F Sport. Something that could go head to head with Audi's S3 and the likes. I'd even be interested if they kept it a hybrid or an EV with that kind of performance.
