The intake does/should.
IMHO, if the any intake REALLY adds 20HP to the ground for $600, it is very much worth it.
Actually the TC does add rwhp and rwtq. It does so in 2 ways. As the name suggests a TC converts torque. What does this mean? Prior to lockup it multiplies torque. By adding 500rpm to the stall speed the torque is multiplied for 500 more rpm. By increasing torque for a given axle speed you increase rwhp for that axle speed. Also, the PI TC is slightly smaller and lighter than the stock TC and therefore uses slightly less power it also has a lower moment of enertia allowing quicker reaction to throttle. All in all it is VERY noticeable, quicker, faster... of course the biggest improvement is off the line but it extends beyond that.
I think it is higher. If I had 300 HP at the crank and 235 at the wneels, that is a 21.7% loss (65/300). Then take the 262 and divided by 78.3% and get 335HP at the crank. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, guys I have noticed an extra 25 miles a tank.
This is rediculous. Increased horse power with reduced consumption?!!! This goes against the laws of physics!!
Anyone try out their exhaust?? SRT that is.

This goes against the laws of physics??? Not really.
Most cars don't utilize the fuel sprayed into the cylinders. The main reason for this is the lack of oxygen. By adding an exhaust and intake, you increase the air flow and decreasing back pressure thus allowing more oxygen finds it's way into the cylinders. With more oxygen in the cylinders, more fuel is utilized allowing for a larger explosion (Combustion). A larger explosion means more power.
IMO, intakes don't make that big of a difference
Sound and look gr8, but thats about it
I would persoanlly use the $550 and get some suspension mods or a TC
IMO

OK this question is for everyone with the SRT intake, how much Louder is it compared to stock? does it still sound kinda quiet in the cabin or do u always hear the intake? I want get one but dont want to have it be too loud for my taste, and I dont know of anyone around here with an SRT intake for me to listen.
