Disconnect your battery for 10 minutes, if you haven't already done that. You should feel even more power by resetting the Stock Driving Pattern ECU.

Default SRT Intake

I put Borla exhausts in last weekend. Tomorrow I am putting the SRT intake set up with the ECU. I'll let you know how it does. It looks great. By the way I got 235 RWHP stock and 235.5 RWHP with the Borlas, no real improvement in hp, BUT WHAT A GREAT SOUND! I will get the car dyno'd again this coming week to see what the SRT set up does for me. I'll let you know next week!

couple days later and still loving it. I am noticing that when you push hard on the gas...more horses still come out. Every day it gets more. Unbelivable purchase....SRT did their homework on this bad boy.

Default SRT Intake and ECU

Great to hear that you are really liking it!
What year and model car do you have? I have a 2003 GS430.
Enjoy!

I'm not sure if they make one for your GS430. I'll ask my hook up....

1998 GS400.....

Also the SRT Couplings are reinforced silicone and the weapon-r is rubber which deformed after prolonged use the the pipe fitings which leaked after a while, thus the poor low end.

Anyone with a weapon-r intake should go check all your fittings asap.

Default SRT Intake

Did the DYNO test yesterday and I went from 235 RWHP to 262 RWHP with the Borla exhaust and the SRT intaike. Torque went from 252 to 287 WOW. The Borla set up alone didn't do it, but once I opened up the intake with the SRT system, it made all of the difference.

Tough decision..
Remember that a TC/LSD do NOT add power at all. They will probably improve acceleration by traction and stall speed, but add 0 ponies.

The intake does/should.

IMHO, if the any intake REALLY adds 20HP to the ground for $600, it is very much worth it.

marcianof:

I installed a custom noise / temp airbox designed and built by a ClubLexus member on mine, which reduced the loud-level.

Not sure if he has any more to sell, but here's a link to more info -->click here.

About 322 HP at the crank. Taking into consideration there is a 27.65% hp loss to the rear (based on his stock numbers).

Default HP at the crank

I think it is higher. If I had 300 HP at the crank and 235 at the wneels, that is a 21.7% loss (65/300). Then take the 262 and divided by 78.3% and get 335HP at the crank. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's my story and I'm stickin too it.
