Question F Sport Cold Air Intake System

I'm new to CL & need some advice. Did my research & found two deals for the F Sport Intake for my 2is. Just wanted to know if anyone has purchased these intakes thru ebay before or between the two which one seems more legit??!!

Welcome to CL.

Ever consider Joe Z Intake? It claims to give the same HP gains as the Fsport at a fraction of the cost.

Personally, I have found very few good lexus performance parts on Ebay. Most of that stuff is snake oil crap.

Thanks. Was considering JoeZ Intake but can't find many deals out there for it to even compare. Know any good sites?

Did you purchase the Joe Z pipe alone or did you have to buy a separate piece of filter? I'm new to this

I bought only the pipe (got mine in blue during a special order period). Lots of CL members use this pipe because of its proven results. Joe Z is even a member.

Have you tried www.sewellparts.com for the F-sport intake, there is a CL discount and I think the with the CL discount price for the F-sport Intake is $305(around $320 shipped), I would rather purchase the intake from here than ebay, much more reliable.

And if you are considering getting the Joe Z intake, since you are in CA, I recommend purchasing the carb legal sticker available for the F-sport intake from sewell, just in case you run into a douch bag of a cop, you got that carb sticker. (most cops won't know what the F-sport intake looks like)

Was also considering of getting the K&N air intake just because it adds 11+ hp, then I saw this
http://www.knfilters.com/search/legal_all_states.htm

Hate how California is so strict!!!

You can put in any filter ie. F Sport, K&N, HKS. Don't fall into the hype of high HP gains. 5-7HP max. You can also go into any Lexus dealer and buy the F Sport carb legal sticker. Tjhat's what I did and kept it in the glovebox. When smog comes around if anyone questions it you can show them also.
