anyone interested in converting their car to V300
DO you mind sharing how you got the Skyline to be 50 state legal without going through Motorex?

All I can say is you gotta know the right people at right places and you can cut the cost of these cars by as much as half of what motorex is charging. And thing that I'm doing is legal and registration and pink slip will say "Nissan Skyline".
I'm glad you got the process figured out and maybe after I get used to my TT GS I will look into it myself.
You can buy a Skyline in Japan for half the price of motorex charges by just walking into any dealership without any contacts. You can even import one from Dubai, UAE for much less.
I've heard horror stories from people that bought their Skylines over there and they ended up being stolen and impounded.
Be carefull when buying Skyline's from the UAE, there are a lot of bad apples there.

Would you be willing to import a skyline for a cl friend? If you dont mind me asking about how much, about does it cost for you? thanks

Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
After everything, I will be end up paying about $75000 for both cars. thats including shipping, taxes, etc, etc to make these cars legal. that is way cheaper than what motorex are selling these cars for. they charge $95000 just for ONE R34 and its not even Vspec II Nur spec which is limited edition.

May I ask what color is the V-spec II Nur you just bought and how much you pay for it in Japan? Just curious.
I am currently driving a street legal 2002 V-spec II Nur in Southern California and looking into buying a new GS300 and do the whole 2JZGTE + 6 speed manual swap.
Seems like we have similar taste in cars

Where are you located in the U.S.? It would be fun to meet up once you get your Nur.
V300................I am very interested in having a GS300 converted into a V300, are you in the Southern California area? I really would like to check out the quality of your car if possible.

I think I seen your car before at the 240sx convention. I got the white Vspec2 nur also. I got it for about 3,500,000 yen(about $28455) in japan.
3.5 million Yen is an unbelievable price for a brand new V-Nur with no miles! The last time I check they were going for 7 million yen. Is the car you bought have absolutely nothing wrong with it?
Even 1999 R34 GTR with low miles (10-20K) that are in good shape are still going for at least 3.5 million Yen in Japan.

. In japan, they actually consider a car with 12 mile on the odometer as a used car. This R34 ended up in this auction because the guy who bought this car traded in for something else after 12 miles
. Both R33 and R34 that I purchased has nothing wrong with it at all. R34 looked brand new(of course) and still had plastic cover on the door panels and the seats.
