Default Injen cai installed. Now...

Ok guys, I recently bought a new Injen CAI and panted it wrinkle black. Looks clean as hell in my otherwise stock engine bay. About a week after I installed it I got a CEL. I scanned it and it came out to be evap / emissions codes. Purge valve and such. Now, I am going to put my airbox back on and clear them to see if that was the problem, but just wondering of that is the problem, has anyone else ran into this and been able to successfully fix it where you can run the CAI? I'm at 146xxx miles.

Any pictures of the engine bay with the intake installed? I'm sure I've seen a few posts about people having issues before, but dont remember what their resolutions ended up being.

3UZ. It's so clean I hate to pull it off. I painted it wrinkle black straight out of the box.

Feels smoother through all the ranges. I also have a free flowing x pipe back exhaust. I'll sell the intake for 210$ shipped. Not even been on a month. Painted so clean wrinkle black. Y'all LMK if anyone is interested.

What'd you use to paint it?

...but yeah, what GS4_CS said about their prices on ebay is true. Either way, good luck!

You can get at the dealer but use the part number on the solenoid and get from a Toyota dealer it will be a lot cheaper.Or try RockAuto.com.

Thanks so much! Appreciate it a lot. Where is the solenoid located? Under the rear of the car?
