Default Is there a diy way to do a zero point calibration?

I just did an overhaul of the suspension and now of course I need to do a zero point calibration for the steering angle and I spent all afternoon searching to no avl

I found this
but the pins 12 and 14 he refers to are blank on my 02 gs 300 meaning no metal contact points where as he has some in his obd connector as shown in the vid.
