As stated in the title of the thread, I am wondering what type of spark plugs would work best for my supercharged lexus. I bought some Denso Platinum TT plugs (PK20TT) from Advanced Auto Parts, but am looking to see if something is better for my vortech supercharged setup. I'm not a fan of iridium based spark plugs, as I've had bad experiences in the past with horrible gas mileage. Thanks ahead of time!

I'm currently using the same plugs on my SC'd GS300 also and it's great. Just make sure the gap is around .031.

I thought Iridium plugs could not be gapped because of how delicate the tips were? I suppose they can... if you're brave enough

Technically you shouldn't need to gap the plugs but it's doable. I would however not use one of those round spark plug gap gauge to check the gap as it's not very accurate and will rub against the electrode. I use a feeler gauge to verify the gap.

...old thread. Did you by any chance buy this car recently? Does it have SSR wheels? If so, I think I know the car...I have seen it once before for sale on long island. In any event...Welcome to ClubLexus!
