The SRT HFI comes with a "piggyback" ECU that adjusts the A/F mix to compensate for the increased air flow of the SRT intake. I don't think the other intakes have the same feature.

I've had the SRT HFI since January and can honestly say there is a noticeable gain in performance. I've had no problems with it. I've since been to the dealership twice for routine servicing and received only compliments about it from the service department.

The concensus is SRT. So does anyone know if this will void my warranty. Can anyone recommend where I can go to have this install (from North Cali). Should I go thru the dealer??

The SRT HFI should not in itself void your warranty unless the HFI was the direct cause of the covered component failure. I've been to the dealer twice for warranty and service work and both times they only had good things to say about the HFI.

You could do installation yourself with some basic tools and soldering skills. Follow the instuctions carefully and take your time.

Here's a link to some photos of my installation and some documentation:

The newer kits uses a smaller piggyback ECU box which should fit under the cover of the stock ECU housing. This is better since you don't have to drill a hole in the stock ECU cover for the piggyback wiring. The newer kits also have other refinements for a better fit.

Hope this helps.
