Hey CL! My uncle has a 2001 Lexus gs300. He recently purchased a new battery and accidently put the negative with the positive. The car will turn on but no lights break lights what so ever works. Only thing that does work is the headlights and power doors. When the car is turned on and give a little gas, it sounds like its about to die or choppy. Checked all fuses, all fuses look fine except for the 120a alt fuse. will be replacing that tomorrow currently having a hard time removing the fuse box tabs. Please HELP ! cant figure out what else to do ! Thank you !

 

If you jump it backwards, it will most likely blow the 120a ALT fuse. Fix that and most of your issues will go away. Just hope that you didn't burn up anything else!
