2jzge-t with stock intake. EGT and any lean cylinders?
Hi everyone.
Does anyone know if the 2jz-ge with stock intake manifold leans out any cylinders?
Are the cylinder 3 and 4 in the center prone to run slightly more lean due to the front facing intake manifold or not?
It's a gs300 vvti engine that i am swapping in our drift project Nissan S14. It's getting turboed and i'm wondering this in order to choose which cylinder to put the EGT probe on the exhaust manifold. I'd like to put it on the cylinder that runs the hottest if there are any.
I'm familiar with the 3sgte engine and the stock front facing manifold and this is a common issue. But i couldn't find anything with the 2jz-ge. 2jzgte datas would not be relevant as it's a side entry intake.
Thank you.
