Default is it worth it to get this exhaust with stock intake?

I have an 01 GS430 and I kinda wanted the Tanabe Medallion Touring Cat Back Exhaust but looking at some youtube videos it didnt sound much different then stock. How much am I gonna notice if I have stock intake since I dont really plan on changing that. is it worth it? any and all opinions appreciated, thanks!

My opinion : Start with the intake. I'd simply cut holes (with a drill) in the airbox. This creates a nice sound when you step on it.
Check out this Vid. Notice how simple the airfilterbox is modified.

Im in for more of a deeper sound with the looks and wouldnt mind a nice performance gain. Im not trying to do anything crazy I stumbled upon this looking to change my rear middle CAT since its rattling and figured why not do this if it will make my car sound much nicer and look better. I just want to hear all the pros and cons about getting this without the intake.

Did you notice any gains or losses from doing this?

On my TL I actually noticed a nice increase in MPG, but some would say I'm crazy and it's impossible due to a resonator only there to keep the motor quiet.

This isn't bootleg, it keeps the car looking nice and stock (which actually quite a few ppl like)
I also think it looks better than metal piping from a CAI with a cone filter

And it's free.

Just put washers in your muffler bolts! It sounds COOL!

And it's CHEAP!

^^ whats even cheaper is just remove the rear mufflers, + weight savings and improved gas mileage, if you still want louder remove the Y pipe too for even more weight savings and even better gas mileage. lol

Yea all these retarted fake ways sound like things no one should try. Especially the holes in the air box. There a reason the airbox intake is built into the grill. You don't want to be sucking in hot air on a hot day. nd removing the mufflers on this car is retarted I don't want louder I went deeper aggressive by still whisper quiet at idle which I learned recently isn't much possible
