Here's one. But keep in mind I had a shop custom fit the 4" tail pipe so it's flush with the bumper.

so, you mean they rewelded the hangers?

if that's the case, how much did they change them to sit flush with the bumper?

actually, that would probably change since i'm planning on getting the L-sportline kit...

any suggestions as to where to pick up a Greddy PE?

They chopped off about 1.5" of the piping right behind the canister then rewelded the pipe back to the canister. Cost was around $150. I have teh RMM rear bumper but PE still extrude out about 1.5".

Take a peek at the Apex WS Exhaust....it is a little more subtle looking but giving you that nice deep throaty sound when you got over 2000 RPM. I'll post a picture of how they look on my car shortly. I too had to modify the tips so that they would come out more and be centered.

The Greddy PE sounds ridiculously GREAT on the GS..

I want to get one for my LS, but..eh / eh...maybe too ricey for an old man car.

Of course, I have to agree with the rest of the gang here - Greddy, hands down. I have a '98 Black GS400 that already had the Greddy catback installed with the wide tips flush like was described in a couple of the pix here. I am extremely satisfied with the system. It is mellow enough in sound where you need it, yet when it's pushed - it performs manificently!! Also, I am averaging 21-24 MPG highway and this has been very consistent and I attribute this to the Greddy's, plus I know it boosts the overall HP a little as well - like we need more. (Ha) Hope this helps.
