If the information that has already been provided is not sufficient and would like to obtain more, you can always call SRT directly at (301) 982-4600.

Thanks.

For $35k plus the proceeds of selling my car, I would get a 2001/2002 low mileage M5 with a few goodies n calli it a day. I had a 95 Supra TT with a custom turbo kit not too long ago and all I can say is that it needed a lot of TLC & $$$ bc of all the extra stress that was put on the car from the huge HP gains. JMO

Thats true....

but still having a extremely rare luxury vehicle has its advantages!!!

Recently a newer M5 came up on me at a light, revving his engine, and I thought it was ON!!!! Unfortunately, he was a punk, and I left the light with a little less tread on my tires! LOL At least he got a mouthful of exhaust! The funny thing was that he came up on my right side at the next light, and stayed a FULL car length behind me. PUNK! LOL

For $35K, you get "just" the engine mods. I know it is a lot, and it is comprehensive, but still, it is just the engine. You have to spend quite a bit more to make the rest of the car to catch up.

Plus, you will be limited to drag races, mostly. If that's your thing, God bless...

I would rather spend $36K+ on a brand-new M2 Impreza WRX: it probably won't win a drag race with a TT GS (at that stage of tune), but it will probably blow it away on the track (with turns).

Plus, you could spend just a little more and have all the goodies to properly track your car: rollcage, proper seats, etc.

Don't forget that you also have a luxurious and sporty GS to go on dates in.

Just my .02

This is just my opinion but 35K is insanely too much money. Let's see, 45 grand plus 35 grand equals 80 grand. Come on, now. But to each their own.
