Please do. I do agree with others, one ideally would of known what they are getting regardless of what the price is.

I think I kind of figured out....easiest way to see of course is the AWD badge beside IS250 badge, but some people remove that (like me ;P) so that can be misleading.

Another way I believe works is to look at the driver's side floor shape. I think AWD has less foot room as the right side "wall" under the dash that is carpeted (really not sure what that part is called) bulges out (assuming left-hand-drive), while the RWD doesn't have that bulge. Therefore RWD and AWD have differently-shaped driver's floor mats.

If someone can confirm this that'd be great because I don't have a RWD 2IS to compare to
I just remember my friend's aftermarket floor mat didn't fit mine (he had RWD, I have AWD)

Here is a pic for reference but it's not that clear, and sorry if this is your car I just googled.

The badge is the easiest thing to spot, but easily removed (if someone wanted to).
The floor bulge is almost as easy to spot and there in every AWD.

There's no need to look for axles or anything else, just look at the floor. That being said, you can also look for front axles or tire size (though that is easily changed as well if someone wanted to). Or take a look at the model code (GSE25 for IS250 AWD, GSE20 for IS250 RWD) or the VIN (JTHC for AWD, JTHB for RWD).

Assuming stock car... all one could do is to look at the front wheels wheel gap. For AWD, it sits higher as compared to RWD.
