Ok so I jus purchased a 98 gs300 nd the check engine light is on so igot it checked out n they told me it was a evap leak . Any help on how ican find my problem ???

First off, welcome to Club Lexus.

Second, no one is responding to your post due to a giant lack of information and details. That, and the fact that searching would have netted you tons of info and you wouldn't have had to post at all.

But anyway...

At the very least, we need to know exactly what error code the car has. This will pinpoint what area of the EVAP system has a problem.

Mileage would be nice, too.

And of course, the obligatory "Did you check your gas cap?" applies here. Make sure it's tight. Reset code and see if it returns.

Just add a JDM sticker on the dash, and it will go away
