Hey guys. I've been on the forum for a while but just picked up my 98 gs400 yesterday. This thread will be dedicated to finally showing what the M2 performance exhaust is like on a 400 while also giving me a chance to introduce myself. I have just ordered the exhaust and will post updates when it arrives and is installed. I'm transferring over from the Miata community. I am currently selling my 90 turbo Miata drift car as I wanted to get into something bigger and nicer. I'm getting married in May so my toy now also has to be practical. I'll let you all know how the exhaust is as soon as it arrives.

Ill tell you right now dude,,,its gonna sounds like a constipated dog trying to fart. Go Borla or Magnaflow those are just a waste of money and will do nothing but discolor and corrode. I had one of my sc300 and it was crap



Just call it a MX-5 like the rest of the world...I dunno why mazda ever thought of naming it the miata...maybe to attract the gay community. It really is a perfect starting track car for people with so much potential but it's a shame it was never viewed the same here in the states

 

I have it on my GS300. Been on my car well over a year in Hawaii and no corrosion to date. I'll shoot a video and try to get it uploaded..

It's a knock off of the Top Speed exhaust lol. I have the TS one that I developed with them a few years back. It's been on my car for a long time now and no problems.

 

$380 shipped. I'll post pictures and videos as soon as I get it on the car.

M2 exhaust installed! ENORMOUS pain in the butt to install because the alignment isn't perfect but it fits pretty well once everything is tightened down. The sound is absolutely amazing. I'll post a video once the mufflers have had time to break in. I can say that the fit is so tight to the body that the mufflers initially contact the heat shields. Once the hangers settled they hung beautifully; although not perfectly aligned.

 

Getting compliments all over the place about the sound. It is absolutely wonderful. My buddy said that from inside the car at WOT it sounds like a corvette ha. I'll be out of town for a fishing trip for the next day or so but I'll get a video put together as soon as I can. BUY. THIS. EXHAUST.

How's drone? If it is quiet in the inside while cruising, I'm sold.
