Seriously though, even Lexus admits the car is fine on 10k oil changes as we just covered

Is 0w-20 recommended?

Since your 2012 says 0w20 on the oil cap i'd probably just stick with that. No reason to really switch, but switching isn't really going to hurt you either. If anything you'll get slightlyyyyy better MPG with 0w20.

hmm, that's odd, when i went for my 1st oil change on a CPO 2008 IS350 thay said dyno oil 5w30. I requested synthetic oil and the dealer filled with 0w20... kinda odd since 0w20 is not for is350

It's about 5000 miles equivalent to what the US interval rate is.

For the currents, which want 16,000 km, then it's 10,000 miles for US.

0W20 is not recommended for the IS350. I'd change it out to 5W30.

For a 2006 RX330 in the manual/ on the sticker it states 5W30 same as 90% of vehicles on the road. But, what the hell does Toyota about oil for there motors.Putting in 0W30 is just plain goofy...

Bottom line: Put what is on the oil cap and change it at the recommend intervals. You will be good
