Question Headers- DIYable?

Ya.. i'm pretty new to CL, and I haven't owned my IS300 for long either. What I want to know is. Which headers wud u reccomend for an 03 IS300? I heard OBX is good but they are pretty pricey.

Also, wud I be able to install my own headers or is this a kind of thing that I have to take to a tuner shop?

I would go with Megan also. The only thing is that you have to reweld the o2 bung, which isnt hard.

I bought megan racing headers and I am very satisfied with them. I didn't even reweld the o2 bung. I just hit the engine bay with a hammer and made the sensor fit. Didn't damage anything =)

Wouldnt that make it look a little janky though? I dont know if I could bring myself to modify the car instead of the part

Hello, new members first post. Lots of knowledge.

If you do not want to get headers that require a reweld of the bung you can opt for OBX headers. They are basically turbo east replica's and weigh 3 pounds lighter and made out of sturdier metal. Only problem is you will pay more for them.

Ahh that's right. OBX had long tube and short tube. The short tube I recommend.
