Default drop in filter or injen kit?

So in another year or so im plannin to go na-t with my 02 gs300, however untill then i was going to put some sort of intake system on it and probably a decent exhaust just to open it up a little.
My question is, is it worth getting the injen system for 250 or whatever it costs or would a drop in k&n be the way to go?

Thanks guys
