I'd like to do couple mod to my exhaust, mainly to get more sounds and noise. I do not care about hp gains, at all. But At the same time do not want super loud.
So I thought about getting the F sport exhaust, but with that price it's probably enough for me to get a Tanabe and Invidia. I thought Tanabe + invidia would be a good setup for me because Tanabe I think is the most affordable exhaust out there compared to others, and since it's a bit on the quieter side it would complement the Invidia well.
I figured F sport or HKS + invidia will probably be too loud for me. If you guys want loud but not super loud, and are on a budget, what kind of exhaust would you go with Invidia? Or is there any other kind of setup that would satisfy my needs?
Personally if you don't want to go too loud I'd stick with just an F-Sport. The Invidia will make any axel-back exhaust loud since its literally a straight pipe ... even the quieter ones like mine (Lexus HKS).

By Lexus HKS, do you mean HKS-Hi power or F sport

I like my F-sports alone. Not too loud, but a little mean.
If Invidia + anything is crazy loud, should I consider HKS-Hi power over the F sport without Invidia? Megan midpipe is out of my budget

With this setup, I couldn't tell difference in sound output according to Youtube videos. . When can you tell the difference? At start up or when reving ?

By that do you mean F sport got quieter after a while ?

The Invidia's are around $300 so I assume the Megans are around that neighborhood, right? I bought the Invidias brand new, installed them, and sold them the next week for $20 less, so no biggy.
What part of CA are you in? Check out the CA section for meets. Trust me, I went to my first meet last year and everyone was welcoming and friendly. You can finally put faces to screennames. Tons of stock cars too. Meets are like 30% for the cars and 70% socializing for me.
"Lexus HKS" is what we call the "Lexus dual sport exhaust by HKS". It is literally identical to the f-sport exhaust - just slightly quieter.
And don't be shy to come out to a meet - even if your car is still stock! Meets are the best places to check out other people's cars as well as make frieds with people who love Lexus just as much as you
And like digital don says - after a while you start going to meets to hang out with friends and not Just for the cars
Def recommend the F-Sport Exhaust with no mid pipe. Love how the exhaust sounds. But like you mentioned the price was high. Maybe you could get a good deal from someone selling in the classifieds.
