My HKS (ist release) does not have round mufflers, it has the oval ones and the Invidia mid pipe sounds great with it, not loud at all,...even the wife approves

 

^ How is the drone before and after Invidia? Can you still listen to music / talk thru bluetooth, etc ?

 

What we have is the "Lexus HKS" ... (pre f-sport). They are talking about the HKS Hi-Power. 2 different exhausts.

Ok... Understand that every exhaust setup will be different. Like I said - the HKS he is talking about is the "Lexus HKS" - also known as the "Lexus dual sport exhaust by HKS". It was an OEM exhaust sold by Lexus before the f-sport stuff came out. It's a quiet exhaust. It's also no longer available...

I suggest you guys go out to meets and listen to each setup... Go ask others to take you for a ride, etc.

Invidia + f-sport drones, and the HKS hi power is louder than the f-sport. Sooo... I think you can figure that one out Also - if you don't want drone - your best bet is no mid pipes or Megan mid pipes.

I have the HKS hipower exhaust with resonator delete setup for my 07 is250, its annoying on long drives(over 2hrs) but its sound so nice when your over 3.5k rpm.

I have the HKS with resonator delete also, and IMO the drone isn't that bad. I've driven in it for 4 hours and I was fine. Maybe that's just because I like it loud. Unfortunately I'm in the mood to switch up my exhaust. I love the sound and everything, but getting a bit tired of how it looks on my car. I was thinking Greddy, but heard it's not as loud. If I paired it up with Invidia midpipes would it sound anything like HKS? I've already Youtubed it and every video sounds the same to me and doesn't do any justice.
