Anyone know this car? 1999 GS300 Turbo
I just bought this car wondering if anyone knew it or of it? It is VVTI and has a JDM intake manifold, Precision turbo, nitrous kit. It has Blitz wheels and some kind of aftermarket big brake kit. I believe the car came from FL. The car says Veilside on the side of the stripe. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about it. BTW, it kinda looks burnt orange in the pictures but it is actually a burgandy color.
Thanks

It's seems like you picked this up as a repo or something of that nature, the original owner may not be so inclined to help you out by selling you the key.. Still worth a shot, but if you do find him don't be surprised if he doesn't want to communicate with you.
Nice pickup for a project car. A little tlc like mentioned and you've got a fun ride. That's not a jdm intake on the stock VVTI like it seems that your implying, it's a full GTE VVTI motor swap..
Post up some more detailed pics of the car, like the brakes. Surely someone here will be able to identify the brand.

There looks to be quite a bit done to the car. It might be making alot of power if it's properly tuned. I can see it has a Fuel Pressure Regulator on it, so it is likely to have upgraded injectors and fuel pump also. Any idea what piggyback or other electronics this car has? Does it have a wideband gauge? If it doesn't have a wideband I would not pound on it to hard until you know how the afr's are currently running, since you don't the history of the build.
If you can take some closeups of an injector and post it you'll know if they are stock or not.
That's alot of slack on the throttle cable also, I'd look into adjusting that out. Judging by the length of threaded portion left on at the bracket doesn't look like there's much room to run it back any, so it's likely not a mk4 supra cable that was used.

I can't wait to see this car after the new owner gets to clean it up. It looks like someone got a little bored after building it or they were huffing the same fumes from the cans they decided to spray the engine bay parts with...
i know this building in the back....let me search. BRB

So OP you should take the cover off of the ECU box and post a pic, is easy to tell which ECU you have by looking at it. If indeed it is the JDM NON-Immobilizer version you can just buy a key from a dealership, locksmith, or Ebay vendors that will cut you a key from the VIN, no programming or electronics needed. (you can still by a remote keyless entry key and program it to work your locks and windows with a Non-Immobilized key/ecu)
If you have a newer Aristo ECU that does have the Immobilizer or if the original owner was using the stock GS300 ECU w/ piggyback then you would need to find a locksmith with the Toyota Key Flashing Tool. (There is a actually a separate ECU in the car just for this and that is was gets flashed, not the key or Engine ECU) or just buy and install a Aristo NON-Immobilized Engine ECU.
