Afe + F-Sport intake combo

Hey guys, do you think the Afe Stage 2 black plastic intake tube will work with the F-Sport intake box?

Why would you need to mix and match? Just stick with either AFE or F-sport.

Just curious to see if it works that way before I get the F-sport intake box only, since the other part is just a tube, whether it's in aluminum or plastic.
