Default Tanabe or F-Sport exhaust?

I'm getting a '10 IS350 in the next week or so and want to install a bit louder exhaust and have nicer looking tips.
When I owned a '06 IS250 I installed a Tanabe and liked it.
Is the F-Sport exhaust worth the extra $450 or so over an Tanabe in look and sound? Is it loud?

I love my tanabes, the f sport is louder, it will come down on whether you want a more louder exhaust, if you do then go fsport, if you want quiet exhaust go tanabe. Good luck with your choice, happy modding!

Really? I thought most exhausts for the IS were 6-8hp. Do you mean "noticeable" hp?

I'm just looking for a nicer tip look and a bit more sound.

Maybe they are referring to when you go from 0-60 in the 1500-2500 rpm range. I found it to be loud with my windows down when I start moving after a red.

Now loudness is all subject to ones opinion lol. I measured the decibel level with an iPhone app and it hit 80-84 db with windows down. I'm going to measure again later on because I dint think it was too accurate. We are not able to legally operate a car when using a hand held device. So I was just sneaking peeks while driving.

Performance wise they're the same.

Boils down to noise level.

I love me Tanabe... Quiet and Deep roar when I want it to

I believe the F sport exhaust is a lot louder in the is250, than in the 350. When I was debating if I should get the Fsport. I test drove a 250... and DAM it was loud.. but on a 350.. its nearly silent after your get at a steady speed.. But you can make it loud when you want it to make it loud

Just measured again the decibel level. It hit 90 db with an open window before I let up on the gas.
