Question General Exhaust Question (Sound)

So I just installed my M2 exhaust a couple hours ago and I have a few questions. Do all exhausts for the IS have a monotone sound? I think it sounds good, but it doesn't seem to change note at all and sounds kind of like a boring professor lecturing...

Also, does anyone else feel like the IS shouldn't have an exhaust system because it is a luxury car and the only Lexus meant to sound like anything is the LFA because it is tuned by Yamaha Acoustics.

I have the F-Sport intake and I think it provides a nice growl and the exhaust may be a bit overkill and ruin the class of the car...anyone else agree?

***All opinions are welcome, as I am trying to get a feeler for which route I want to go with my car***

Thanks for looking

Yes, over stock the car definitely needed something...and I think the F-Sport intake was it. Maybe I need to break in the exhaust, but I am also considering selling and just getting coils.

F Sport will be louder and HKS Hi Power the loudest. Mid Pipes can make it even louder like an Invidia.

We all know these cars aren't Gs, never gonna be G's, and never sound like G's....only thing I said was that I missed mine and the sound it made, not "How do I make my is350 sound like a G." It ain't gonna happen in this lifetime.

On a new note, all I wanted to know was that all these exhausts will sound monotone because of the car, which I guess is true. Louder is definitely not what I'm looking for tho. The M2 isn't too loud at all, but I still don't think it is for me.

If anyone wants an M2 and lives in Florida hit me up!

Interesting...I'd LOVE to hear what this one sounds like so we could compare to other exhaust notes whether that be a tanabe or stock G. No one has any good clips of this exhaust!!!

Post a short 30 sec vid with decent sound if you could.

I wish I was more tech savvy, but I'm not. I'll ask my friend tomorrow and see what he could do.

ive been also searching for an exhaust with heavy grunt...but quite when cruising. i know HKS OEM is a very good sounding exhaust, but it unfortunate that its discontinued. trying to find a used one but they would still cost quite a bit.
im going with JoeZ intake and Exhaust (Greddy?? or HKS OEM?? or Tanabe MT??)

Might help you sell it quicker too, since people will understand the sound (with a few revs of course...).

People are misconceptions about sounds and the car itself. Ultimately , u want the sounds and performances matches your car .... lots of times you seen obnoxious loud cars but it doesnt go anywhere fast lolz..... Oh that just me

I think the F-Sport Exhaust and Intake are as close as you can get to a "deep growl" like the G and Z, but it's the Lexus version. More luxurious imo.

My brother has the Nismo 370z and that thing is flat out beast.

And since you already have an IS350 USB F-Sport, stick with the F-Sport exhaust. It looks and sounds great. I wish I had that setup myself, if only I waited a few months longer.
