hey so i saw that someone was going to drill or did drill holes in the intake box. so i went out that same day and did it myself. i went from an avg 22.1 mpg to 23.1 and this is based of a one week avg. no other mods were done at that time .. no loss of hp either feel a little stronger actually so thanks.. luv it..

One has nothing to do with the other. Adding holes to a box that already supplies more air than the engine can use at WOT, especially adding them before the filter and MAF, can't have any impact on your mileage.
Weather, traffic, and a number of other factors all unrelated to the holes in your airbox can impact mileage though.
There are so many factors that go into how your MPG is calculated (ie. air temp, driving style) that I doubt drilling holes into your intake had that much affect on that reading. Also, you'd have to have driven the exact same way, same roads, etc. for an accurate comparison.

well guys i did not do any other mods to the car and during the week i pretty much have the same route .. home to work and work to home and well ill take pictures post later. the only other time that the avg mpg went up and that was only a tad bit was when i installed the hks exhaust system .. so weather it was the holes or not my mpg went up lol .. im liking it ...
