I've wondered that myself. I've not had an opportunity to try mine against another IS350 but would love to run one to find out. I believe we all used to hope for one of the "freaks". As a matter of fact I still do.

Dynos can very greatly. One guys 289 is another guys 280. Depends on fuel, conditions that day and the dyno itself. The number it pulls is irrelevant, its what it does on the track that matters.

Also, if you want the car to make more power, bag on it as soon as you get it. Break in hard for power, gentle for a motor that will last.

This is dyno sheet a few months ago at Tanabe headquarter , Fsport intake with Tanabe T7 mid pipe, and stock exhaust.... 276rwhp

This is today dynoed.... PPE header with Fsport intake, Tanabe T7 mid pipe, Tanabe medallion Exhaust...328 to 333.63 best result..... almost same dynojet machine... but his one is a bit different.. i'm going to call Tanabe this week and hopefully i can come back and dyno at their place again to double check... The dyno place today is very new so i'm not sure if the system set up correctly... .. i was hoping to get between 290 to 300 or 310 max rwhp

and the video....

maybe thats flywheel he's got showing? Depending on the drivetrain loss you want to use that'd put you at about 285.

Which is much more reasonable for header install than a whopping 57 whp increase.....

Yeah, no way an axle-back and headers added 57 rwhp... especially when the axle-back is known to add about 7... that'd suggest ~50 rwhp from headers.... which is like 3x more gain than anyone else has ever dynoed with em...

Also kinda weird he'd graph against mph and not rpm...

Ummm. Doesn't is say UNCORRECTED at the top left? So there's no consideration for atmospheric conditions? Pretty bad comparison if you ask me. And the spike at the end? Seriously? WTF is that?

so why aren't people posting track times stock and then after mods? although the OP wants hp gains anyone can have a dyno done and not have it correctly calibrated. Wouldn't people who have consistently 280-290hp run roughly the same times on the track give or take atmospheric conditions? at least within a tenth of second of each other.

but i still like blitz's 350 even though the dyno is off

I couldn't definitively hear/tell in the video...but is the trans truly staying in fourth gear when they do the WOT pull or does it downshift into 3rd? Perhaps a pull starting in 5th and WOT pull it downshifting into 4th would yield a more accurate yield?

Like others stated, the only true telling of what WHP gains is to go back to that same dyno that you had the "baseline" runs done.

We could only dream of a power increase of that magnitude; but major props for doing the upgrades and backing them up with dyno results. Now go to the track and dust something!!! LOL

I dynoed mine with intake, headers and exhaust. and it was 272rwhp. Some people have dinoed higher than than without headers. Some machines measurements are lower than others. Ive raced some other IS350's and ive beaten most of them. and every simngle one that has been stock. so mods makle a little bit of difference, but not much

Which is why it's important to do before/after dynos on the same machine... with the same vehicle conditions (ie S-4, snow mode, etc), and ideally with the same dyno operator and similar weather (though SAE correction can help there).

Before/after trap speeds at the dragstrip would be useful too, but again you'll need to get conditions (tires, weather, track prep, launch methods, etc) as similar as possible.

After waiting for a few weeks the SR motorsport/Tanabe back up and running . The temperature was about 91 degree, 1st warm up run reading at 286.45 rwhp. My car was starting to warm up and reading 287.65 rwhp on the 2nd run about 3/4 way and suddenly dynojet broke down again ...After restarted their pc taking out the electronic stuffs while talking to DynoJet techs on the phone they still coudnt fixed so they had to rescheduled me to come back some other day . Fortunately , got a 1st warm up run print out, it shown 270 rwhp before ppe header and after 286.45 rwhp with header. i'm very optimistic the car going to get 290+. Will come back when they good and ready... On the side note there was a scion Tc dyno more than 800 rwhp ran before me. Its from world electronic , 7 seconds 1/4 mile . Hummnnn dont know if that effect the dynojet machine when my turn to run

here some pics
