Just ordered a couple of maintenance items
Is the NEO using a connector or is it soldered in?
Either way I concure. Disconnect and run STOCK to reduce variables and get it properly diagnosed. Leaning out the AF ratio is reasonable IF and only IF the stock settings are VERY rich (which is not uncommon) say 10 or 11 to one. Leaning out to 12-to-1 is ok as LONG as the readings are GOOD readings. The leaner you go the MORE astute you MUST be. Readings on a dyno are often NOT the same as readings on the road due to the difference is load and rate of RPM change. Checking the AF for each bank of cylinders is good practice and for each cylinder is best practice but is akward, difficult and expensive to do. The leaner you go the closer to disaster you get.
Get the engine running stock. If you have the stock air filter housing and tubing that would also me worth running as the K&N is not complicated to exchange.
Of course you may diagnose the problem without the above but so far it has taken more time than expected. Good luck and let us know what you do.

Well, perhaps I will first get the knock sensors replaced w/ new intake manifold gaskets and new plenum gasket (my mechanic said I also needed these items for the install of the sensor; to get to them some stuff has to be taken off). After I change these items then I will bring my car back to the dyno and asses my current AF numbers. I DO NOT want to bring my car to a dyno right now with bad knock sensors (w/ Neo or w/o Neo) due to the fact that the car is driving like a bag of ***** and don't want to WOT on a dyno in this state. I will change the knock sensors (they need to be change regardless now) and will also change out my fuel filter assembly (not really related at all). I will take it from there...
parts should be in tomm or Friday.

Damn man, sounds kinda like my car but opposite, I have a srt intake and chip and smell alot of gas feel like my car is runing rich and i want to lean it out I was going to get the SAFC installed and get it dyno tuned
I think I am going to take this threads advice and return my car to stock first, and see if anything else maybe the problem like 02 sensors or knock sensors
