Hey, i was reading on the tanabe blog about them doing some R&D on is250 midpipe. On the blog they got some dyno charts and clips of the sound and what not. My question is, is tanabe selling this midpipe? i tried looking on their site for them but couldnt find anything. What is weird is that their date posting was about a year ago, so i'd figure that they must have something out already. Was wondering if you guys know anything about this.

 

last dynos I saw from them (yeah a while ago) made no sense at all, and suggested totally impossible gains.

Myself and others asked for clarification and I don't think we've heard anything since.

 

ehehehe that is my car... talked to tanabe not too long ago, they might not come out with this products... cost going to high and not sure customers will want it... but very very awesome midpipe great sound and nicegain

 

That's a shame, from the video clip, it sounds really nice!

 

design-wise, it's about the same as the offerings from megan racing or invidia.

oh for 350 yes, and there was another guy for his 250 , so there are 2 of us, but his mid pipe is diff. T7 model... when it put in to mine and dynoed testing it didnt gain that much as the one i had....

 

Does this midpipe clear your lower brace bar? My invidia tends to bounce on it a little causing a clunk.

 

ah, my its perfectly fit, Tanabe well known for exhaust system.... iam very lucky..... even the header is much bigger than stock and longer,,, still very tight fit...

 

^^ Where's the exhaust shield that protects the Drive Shaft ???

I have one for my 350. I did R&D with them in August of last year. I have since taken it off because I bought the F Sport exhaust and it was just too loud for my tastes. I think I might be selling it soon. If I have one of three I should get a good price for it .
