why is it that very few people have custom exhausts on their car?
here in Miami its cheaper than buying a pre-made exhaust?
mandrel bent catback, 1 pipe split to 2 then to muffler setup, borla mufflers. is what i was quoted. and it was way less than $1,000
if anyone have pics of custom exhaust post them please? im looking for ideas.
I have the hks hi-power an have been contemplating pretty hard to remove it and just do straight pipes after the 2 resonators (closer to the engine bay) after the o2 sensors.
I think I'm bout to hack up my current setup an do a true dual with x pipe. I might wait for the headers and do it all at the same time.
I'm thinking about doing the same. but from what I have heard the ppe headers have a rasp to the sound. so with a custom cat back it could be the opposite of what I'm looking for.
deep tone with some character.
Well if price is the motivator, may wanna consider these tanabe knockoffs for ~$300 shipped. Build qual seems decent and users have said sound qual is nice:
price isn't really the motivator for me. i just want a different setup than the ooo so popular tanabe setup. I would also think most would like a unique tone to their own exhaust.
i actually considered getting one yesterday since it looked like a tanabe... i am more so worried about the sound quality . if it sounds as good as a tanabe i would be game
