Question F-Sport Exhaust Question - Functionality

Hi all,

Just had my F-sport exhaust installed last week at the dealer, just wondering about the functionality of the exhaust itself.

I noticed that the exhaust itself is mainly coming out of the Right (Passenger-side) can. Is this normal? Isn't it suppose to be coming out of both cans?

Would this be an issue with the part or installation?

Let me know, thanks! Or is it the butterfly valve upon startup?

Thats normal. It happens to me too. The passesnger side is shorter compared to the driver side which is why more exhaust exits through the right and you will notice that there is more soot build up on that side as well.

It is actually because of the way the muffler is designed. The passenger side and driver side are different internally. The driver side is more restrictive, so most of the exhaust will go out of the passenger side.
