Just seems to loud for a Lexus. But thats preference. When you installed yours did you notice when connecting the mid-pipe to the M2 that the 2 holes for the bolts are larger on the M2 flange which kind of pulls the bolts through the hole? I checked doesn't seem like an exhaust leak where that connection is but I was hoping it was which would explain why it was louder than I thought.
yeah i understand totally wher you are coming from . when you think of a lexus you dont think or a growl sound or aggressive at all. i have owned a few amg benz's before so i am use to the aggresive sound. and i didnt notice that about the mid pipe. what i did is use the factory hardware on the mid pipe and i trimmed the flange. but i have no leaks at all. and if you wanna hear some loud exhaust look up some of the other on you tube lol... they are pretty loud compared to the m2
I have the 250 6 speed, no real drone but just normal driving seems a bit loud.
oh you got a 6 speed. i dont know when you are shifting but i have a automatic it seems to shift real early maybe that is why i dont notice the loudness until i floor it. i think you will get use to it buddy
not loud at all. this is already considered one of the quieter exhausts. tanabe is on the same boat. if you cant deal with the loudness on this, stasis3131 is right; stock exhaust is your best bet.
Got mine on tonight. Had some trouble getting the main muffler into the mid pipe.
Did you guys leave the doughnut on the OEM midpipe? Did you use the new gasket along with the doughnut? Also the springs were very hard to compress getting the new muffler onto the existing mid pipe.
My left is off center a bit. Tried bending it a bit but still need to do some adjusting. Needs to go to the left and up a bit.
you dont need to use the gasket or the bolts that came with it.those are for if you have an aftermarket midpipe, so you just use the oem donut and the spring loaded bolts. compressing was definitely the hard part.
and the exhaust being off centered, its really not the exhausts issue. most exhausts will have that kind of issue.

perfect answers to all the problems and for the spring loaded bolts they are a ***** to get back in . glad i had a cordless impact gun. went in super easy.
my left is also off center as well as all after market exhaust. i just bent the hangers down some and then over to the right . the extra effort to get them back in the grommets after the hanger bending will line them up pretty good . took me about 5 mins to adjust. i had my wife looking to check the alignment as ai bent. but like pli said all after market exhaust are slightly off one way or another.
Ah thanks for the answers. Most off my past cars have only had index exhaust (4 bangers). Except my S2000s had two mufflers, yet the aftermarket exhausts I had were all centered.
Tried bending the hanger a bit to the passenger side of the car. Still need to work on it a bit but damn it's already hard as hell to get back in the hanger.
Did anyones OEM exhaust have about a gallon of rusted looking water in it?
