M2 Axle-back
lol ramps are your best option. i just used the factory jack and some jack stands. but better safe then sorry. and all the info nastyemu gave you was right. buy new bolts unless you have a impact gun like i did. cause those springs are hard as hell to compress by hand. if you never done this before count on 1 and a half of work maybe a bit more if you start trying to tweak the fitment. do it yourself and save that money for mods. and dont forget a can of wd40 to get the muffler out of the grommets and back in to them. without that you are screwed lol. good luck
oh and if you can lay down a big blanket or sheet to prevent marking up the exhaust

Pretty easy but not a 30 minute install like some people will say. As long as you have some ramps or something and a friend to hand you the parts so you don't scrape them all over your driveway you should be able to get it done yourself.
The hardware you receive with the unit won't fit so you'll have to use the OEM hardware which has a bolt/spring. Unfortunately for me, when trying to bolt up the M2 using the OEM hardware I had no way to compress the spring enough to allow the bolt to start threading. I went out and got a couple new bolts and crush washers and it went right on. Stick the rails through the hangers and you're set.
The alignment WILL be off for the tips/bumper so expect to spend some time figuring out a way to either bend the rails or move the hangers in such a way to make it perfect.

jkjk

it just takes some time. if you try hard enough, it'll bolt right in. Then again, i used a makita power drill with a socket to get it in.
to the noobies installing it..the job is a lot quicker if you have experience and the power tools. if not, the job could take an hour+. its also best to have another person or two helping you, so they can hold up the old (heavy) exhaust and the new one.
heres some tips:
-wear dirty clothes that you arent afraid to get dirty with.
-when removing the hangers (this is the tough part), you should lube it with WD-40.
-Use a long screwdriver. You want to use the screwdriver and push the hangers against a part of the chassis. be careful. OEM exhaust is pretty heavy. you can use jackstands and place between the pipings.

-putting it on is simple. lubricate hangers so it makes it easier to put in.
-as others were saying, the spring loaded bolts are hard to get on. you need to push onto the bolt so it compresses the spring and turn to the right (you know the saying,..righty tighty lefty loosey). It may take alot of attempts if youre doing it by hand. if you want to avoid this part, do as emu mentioned. go to a home depot or hardware store and get two bolts. i personally perfer the spring loaded bolts on.
additonally, you dont use the gasket and bolts it came with unless you have an aftermarket midpipe (as i mentioned in another post above).

Anyone have pics of their hangers that they bent? Did you take the exhaust off, or did you just take the hangers out of the rubber to adjust. My drivers side is to the left and sticks out to far.
you will see how easy it is
