Yes, at least I have seen similar threads. My reason for asking was the rabbit trail of FWD trans and since pretty much all of the 2GR-FE MR2 builds people tend to go with the EA60 trans if they are using a 6 speed primarily only because that is what Lotus did. Meaning it is not the only option necessarily and likely not one for someone on a budget. I thought it was interesting that I found this discussion on a google search but figure there are some fwd Lexus' so that's why the rabbit trail is there and people who may know.
