Unhappy Intake issues

Anyone know why my "Check engine light" is on after installing my K&N intake? The car runs smoothly and the sound is awsome, but I am just wondering about this light........

try disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes.

There is more air coming into the engine now. The engine is tripped out. The check light comes on. I've never heard of the battery trick though, that really works???? Cool!!

You need to find out which code is in the engine ecu. Possible P0171, lean condition. Disconnecting the battery will only clear the code until it returns. I have seen many times the o-ring for the mass air flow sensor get pinched or cut during the installation of the non-oem air intake. Check the o-ring, just the slightest air leak will affect the sensor!
