Default Lazy transmission.

I need some advice guys. Ever since I got my P.I T/C installed my trasmission shifts a little lazy when I drive it hard, but mainly just from 1st to 2nd. When I say lazy I mean it tends to slide through the gears. Anyone got any ideas how to cure this? I saw the valve body upgrade by R.M.M but I hate to spend a G on it. Has anyone got the valve body upgrade and was it worth the money? To anyone who knows about valve bodys, is this a good investment(in other words is it worth money) I would apperciate the advice get back to me. Thanx!

Do you pull the ECU-B fuse? If not I recommend pulling it for 30 minutes and see if there is a difference and cures ya problem. Otherwise I myself have noticed it shifts lazy at around 30-35 mph when I have the car in "D", I keep the car in "4" to get rid of this problem, since I think it is when the car goes from 4th to 5th under light acceleration. I have never experienced a lazy shift from 1st to 2nd when flooring the car though, just pull the ECU-B fuse every two weeks.

Your transmission should feel like that. Its due to the stall in the TC. As for the valve body I'm currently upgrading it through SRT.

I don't get any hesitation by the car's ECU on deciding which gear to go into. It goes into the lower gear all the time on my car. So instead of deciding on 2nd or 3rd when I am going say 30 and gun it, the car drops into 2nd and hauls butt. My car is modded so I am not sure this would happen on a stock car, but it's worth a try IMO. I pull the ECU-B fuse every 2 weeks, just a habit and keeps the car on its heels so to speak.

Where is the ECU Fuse-B? I found the ECU Fuse B2? Is this the same.
Thanks in advance for you input.

geneman,

Try using the search feature on ClubLexus and you'll find many of your questions answered.

I searched for 'ecu reset fuse' and found the following threads (among many others). They're a bit big so you might have to do some reading before you get to the answer.
