Jeff so guys don't get mixed up the color coded plugs are viewing thm from the ends not the top in other words the numbers are reversed on the actual ECU - correct?
A mechanic told me that my ECU is going out... Do you know if I install a used ECU does it need to be reprogrammed?
it will need to be reprogramed if you dont have a matching key.(call around to you local lcksmith if you go this rout much much cheaper than dealer) ..if it comes with the matching key all u have to do is swap over the chip to your existing key and wall..A....(otherwise it will not disable the immobilizer and start if the key and ecu are not paired)......
I' in the process of wiring the fi/c. The ecu pinouts that Jeff posted are positive (+) right? So all of the positive wires from the fi/c would connect to those but where do you connect the negative wires from the fi/c? (crk-, cam-, inj-, ect...) Please help.
Thanks. I had a brain fart few days ago but had it figured out. Had the fi/c hooked up and running. Now it just a matter of tunning to make it run right.
