Iridium vs Torquemaster
I have not received my plugs yet, I think TM is currently unable to produce enough for the last group buy. I just hope they don't try to go to a cheaper welder (old problem) to get more plugs to sell.
that is one of the thing I concern most about buying things from small company. just hope that TM does the right thing

Steve bought 300 of the plugs for the initial group buy. Did he sell out that quickly? This info was directly from TM.

The assemble of the TM need to be exam before install. Just make sure the stuff is quality build before installation.. Word of advise, open up all Spark Plug exam them carefully before The install them. Ask the installer not to throw away the old plug.. keep them incase the new one fails...
This company really worrys.. me.. I am thinking of calling Steve and back out of the deal...

Come on guys, don't get so ansy.
Certainly it makes sense to check out the stuff when you get it, but we have a number of folks I trust (Percy, Fever) who have used these for years with no problems and recommend them.
We've covered the quality and reliability issue in other threads pretty extensively I think. TM is a small family shop and they didn't have this many specific plugs for Lexus on hand and they had to make more of them. I'd rather they take a little while in the retooling/making of the plugs than to rush it. Steve is doing everything he can to get them out to us as soon as he gets them (should be tomorrow).

I ordered on the l-tuned website over a week ago. I've heard nothing, so I ordered them directly from Mauri at Torquemaster, located somewhere in the sprawling estates of LAX. He didn't give me a ETA, but from reading this thread, it looks steep.
And I had to pay $14.50 apiece, plus $8.00 shipping. But the order's in, so I feel good about that. www.torquemaster.com

I received mine about 2 weeks ago but I just found out that I can't use the TM plugs when I have the turbo installed so I guess I have to sell these. Hopefully I can return it to steve, if not, who wants them?
