Top Fuel Zero 1000 Power Chamber intake (JDM)!!!
so i ordered a zero 1000 power chamber intake on friday, came yesterday, installed today
first off, for 70 bucks, u cant go wrong, zero 1000 is strictly jdm, they dont even have a US site, second when i opened it, i was pretty surprised at how light it was, it wasnt cheap feeling, it was just light, the tube diameter is exactly the same as the joez intake, and the power chamber at the front is about half an inch bigger, made of carbon fiber, the welds are good, fitment is good too although this thing is pretty big, the filter is huge, after installing it, i couldnt fit the covers anymore :/, ohhh well
i bought this system mainly cuz of the filter, i was looking for a filter that had a top opening to it, the only thing i found was blitz and thats 300 just for the filter, the reason i wanted a opening cuz i also bought a passenger headlight off ebay for a 100 bucks and im gona drill a big hole through the high beam to expose the filter to make a true cold air, im also going to construct a air box around it later on
after driving it, im pretty pleased, it sounded ok at low revs, noticed a hiss coming out whenever i accelerated, sounds like a tiny bov...then at high revs ~6000, the thing comes alive and it sounds absolutely AMAZING, ill post up a video later on, ive had a joez, joez with hole in the box, and a fujita and none of those even come close to what this sounds!!!
over all im pretty happy, dont care if its sucking in hot air from the engine cuz ill solve that soon, but the sound is worth every penny
