PPE Header , CEL and VSC - 2007 IS 350
I'm surprised that over the course of this year old thread there is still people asking how to fix the CEL problem. I installed those 90 degree spacers on each o2 sensor and they work awesome! No more CEL. Yes I am running catless headers.

ok now i see what extender people are talking about. i thought it was the o2 sensor up stream.... but now that i think of it the upstream is a a/f sensor. and the way yours is run do you have the sim connected?

I did the same but after a while the CEL came back.. only after installing a high flow cat.. the CEL was gone.. but it defeats the purposes.. reduce power and sound... Well does not matter.. IS 350 is totalled.. I am on ISF with PPE and O2 SIM..
guess ill see how long i can ride around with the headers until i get tired of the code. my tires arent that great either so this will be interesting. with my car throwing random codes who knows.
no codes no leaks car is running good except it smells like gas from everywhere while idle. any ideas on how to let the car run a little leaner? is this controlled by the o2 sensor or the a/f sensor? i noticed my 90 degree spacer is longer than e46m3lol. looks to be by a quarter or half an inch.

Bump on this thread. And yes people are still installing PPE headers on is250's. I have a rwd manual is250 with about 50,000miles on it.
I have the O2 simulator/conditioner installed and I was getting a P0138 (high voltage, bank 1 sensor 2). Then I got the wiring checked to the simulator and started getting a P0137 (low voltage, bank 1 sensor 2). Then I replaced the O2 sensor but I'm still getting the low voltage code.
I am considering the 90 degree bungs. If anyone is still around that did try that fix. Did you remove the simulator wiring all together when installing the 90 degree bungs?
Any other advice?
Thanks
