Default Help with the f-sport intake

I bought the f-sport intake filter a while back, way way back. When I swapped, I forgot to swap the top lid of the air filter, so now my f-sport intake has the stock lid which is plain black, the f-sport lid has the "f" logo on. Can anyone help me where to order this part? I found it on Sewell under intake for f-sport but that would also include the lower box too and it costs $120.xx. I just want the lid only. Can anyone help?

Also, some video demonstrate the sound of the f-sport intake. Mine doesn't make that wind-air flowing sound, it's f-sport intake though. Is it because of the stock lid?

1. The stock lid doesn't fit well. It's barely snapped in due to the thickness of blue fsport filter.
2. The pic on Sewell show a lid with "F" logo, and it seem a little bigger.

^ +1. You reuse the top part of the air filter box, only the lower is replaced and has the F-Sport logo stamped onit. You sure you didn't flip the filter over or something? Should be a perfect fit.

Mine didn't fit well either because of the thicker filter, I had to hammer the metal clips so it can reach and close the lid completly.

try the stock filter. if it fits fine, than its the f sport filter. but it shouldnt have a problem with fitment. maybe the clips that hold the lower and upper box got caught between them.

you positioned the lip and filter incorrectly then. take your time on it. i had the same issue the first time i installed the f-sport intake with the fitment not "right" but in fact it was just a minor misalignment. I even took it apart again a few weeks ago to check on my filter and snapping it on and off is a cakewalk now.

but everyone else is right, there is no f-sport top lid

uhm ok, i can be wrong but it's hard for everyone to be wrong.

How about the wind-air sound? Mine don't have that after putting the f-sport intake. I can hear the f-sport exhaust but nothing coming from the intake.

^ What he said. The exhaust is a lot more noticeable than the intake, so you might be desensitized.
