Default IS250 oxygen sensor problem

A ladyfriend of mine has an 07 IS250 that has had the check engine light on for some time. The dealer diagnostic says oxygen sensor, bank 1, sensor 1.

I checked another dealer parts and the desk was a bit unsure of the part

I presume it is driver side pre-cat. Parts dept quoted $177.19 for part number 8946530730.

A diagram for the IS350 seems to show the front sensors have the harness plug in the engine bay while the rears pass through the floor making rears a trickier install. Front SHOULD be easier.

My experience tells me not to have 100% faith in the diagnostic results.

Anyone else have an O2 failure?

I will buy the OEM part vs. aftermarket but do not want to buy the wrong one only to have to return/exhange it if wrong and definitely if there is possibly something else triggering the check engine light.

Comments suggestions from anyone with experience is definitely appreciated.

Thanks guys.
