Default Swift Racing Race ECU

Any GS 400 owners try out Swift Racings New Race ECU for the GS4? How does it compare to the previous ECU supplied in the HFI/ECU package? Is it worth the extra bucks? Thanks in advance.

Default Have not received it yet

I placed an order last week and was told that it would ship in a week. My gut feeling is that I probably won't see before 7/4...

I will post a comparsion after I've installed it.

Henry,

How much is the upgrade? Is it a trade-in? I assume you send your's back to Mo when you receive the Race ECU.

I got mine installed last week and will post a writeup sometime week (or next weekend) on my impressions.

I'm waiting for my before/after dyno files from Mo for the writeup (in addition to some time constraints on my part this week).

Short answer - some perceptible difference, most noticable in the lower and mid-RPM bands. I would recommend/do it again for the $$.

QBranch - Marken has the details and prices posted in the Swift Racing forum on CL. I think it's $185 ($85 is refundable and for the ECU trade-in) plus shipping. The swap is basically an easy plug/unplug.
