I was wondering if any-one ever installed the K&N intake system (for the 98-00 GS400) ---- thanks Brian, (didnt even pick that up) on a 2001 430? I did try searching many times but didnt come up with any information...

As Brian (Sakataj) informed me, the MAF sensor may be different... Has any-one ever tried this, that is relating the K&N enthusiasts on here?

I was planning on switching the one on my 400 to my 430 with a injen filter or some other one thereof!

Any help is much appreciated...

 

not maybe rich...the MAF is different...i DONT know if u can use the older styled MAF though. other than that, i dunno why it wouldnt work. you could probably get a piece made to adapt the new one though...or have a plate made to cover the old MAF and fit the new one in

btw fix your quote the gs400 wasnt from 98-2005 it was from 98-2000 lol

u know my thoughts though, since u already have them, take it off and try...
