THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME!!!

Guys....its a 3" aluminum pipe with a cone style filter.....every one of em. AND, the are all pretty much the same length, except the joez of course. The sound differences you are hearing are mostly due to the acoustics of the room, garage, street you are on.

Have you ever driven under the interstate and noticed your intake/exhaust sounded louder? Same thing.

^^ finally a post with something more to add then “fujita FTW!!!”

They all are going to give you a growly roar. I personally think the F-Sport sounds the best as its not an open air cone type like the rest. The box really give a nice growl, classy and “Lexus” like.

You want to sound like all the other rice Civics, go cone style.

You wnat to sound like an aggressive sports LUXURY car, go F-Sport.

Lexus designed it. They know what they were doing and it fits the car the best IMO.

Cone style does not sound ricey.

From driving at the F sport even, my cone style Fujita sounds exactly like the ISF at full throttle, cept louder

Intake sounds all sound a like pretty much no matter what car you are in. I think it is the exhaust that defines if the car sounds rice or not.

If you want real loud get the Blitz sonic intake.

That's funny, no matter what I did to my 350, it never sounded like my F. It never ran like it either.

That's fine. You have a F, I will let it slide. I understand if you got a little worked up

Joez doesn't lie anywhere because the intake sound is largely generated by the shape of the cone, or the shape of the intake box. The fact that the Joez is a metal tube instead of a plastic one means that it will resonate more since it not rubbery like the stock.

The F sport is not as loud because the primary purpose of the F sport is to maintain the cold air intake while re routing the air flow a bit to make some sound + a metal tube to resonate the sound some more.

I took a look at the cone air filter's design, and the sole purpose for the shape of the intake and the "cone" down the middle is to make a lot of noise lol.
