I don't think our cars dip into the 16's. I believe you just have a crap load of stereo components and other stuff slowing you down. Also, have some sticky tires and you'll hook up better.
Also, don't forget your car is 7 years old! Your car is beautiful but just make sure ALSO that all maintenence is in tip top shape. Before you went to the track I would have cleaned the MAF sensor, cleaned your air intake filter, re-set the ECU and used some octane booster on a 1/4 tank of premium. This should help a lot! Thanks for sharing though.
What was your 60ft? And yes i believe these cars are slow in the 1/4 compare to any other car. mostly because of weight issue. Now it's time for that turbo setup.

As far as my audio, I don't have anything that could really weigh me down. If I had to weigh it I bet i have 50-70 lbs worth of audio equipment.

I know this. I do all the regular maintence. Though I didn't get to clean my MAF or filter before I went. That could have possibly hurt me too. Maybe that's what I'll do today..

I can't remember my 60' off hand. I'll post the slip when I get it out of my car later. I know these cars weigh a lot, I just didn't think it was that much. And yeah, I have a crappy turbo sitting in my garage right now that I think I'm going to throw on for now.
My 4th run was terrible. I spun the first 5-8' which killed me. I didn't heat my tires up enough in the box. So my best run was 16.22 @ 86.46.
Wow! just as i thought, bad 60' I bet if you could get that down to 2.1 you'll be in the 15's for sure. But pretty sure you'll have to run some kind of semi slick or slicks to get that good of a 60. Stock we don't have enough grunt to make up time after that point on. I was getting 2.5-2.6 60's also and if i would brake launch at a higher rpm..= no traction at all. Where were you launching it at?
Man do i miss my little honda that can get me to 60 in 1.8 sec.
Didn't we just debate LS1 vs. GTE... what more proof do you need? I don't think the 3.92 gearing is optimal either.
I know. I was just sharing my times
