They make them for both the 250 and 350.. and they are AWESOME. I love mine.

PPE is also making an exhaust that includes the midpipe that bolts right up to their headers.. just something to keep in mind for ease of attachment and about a 50hp boost at the crank.

50 at the crank is about 43 at the wheels... (since most 306 hp 350s put down about 265, putting drivetrain loss right around 13%) don't suppose you've got a dyno sheet to support the claim of +43 rwhp from the headers and exhaust?

Nope... Estimation considering what some of the IS's are putting down stock and then with BPU mods. All the IS's out here are dynoing in the 240's (a few low 250's) stock and I dynoed 286 withOUT the 2.5" full exhaust. I guess that would put you around the +43 you are referring to.

Gotta pay to play with this car. Those cheap knockoff brands aren't gonna gain you crap. PPE is the only company I know of that's actually posted up worthwhile numbers. (+16rwhp on an IS350 w/ a custom dual exhaust setup already installed)

I dunno what dynos you're using, but a stock IS dynos about 265 on all the ones I've seen.

Wasn't the actual before/after for PPE something like 15-20 rwhp?

Even PPE headers are on the expensive side, you won't have to worry about fitment, quality, and performance because they have an excellent reputation for fabricating headers for cars from Toyota to Lotus. Also, they have proven performance gains from their dyno so you really are getting something from the purchase.

For midpipes, I would go with Invidia because it is better in quality than Megan Racing. I believe the Invidia midpipes are bang for the buck. It's not so much performance gains (I believe 1-2hp according to what other have said for midpipes alone) but it improves the exhaust flow and gives you a more throaty exhaust note. It's slightly louder because it deletes the secondary cats.

If you are going with the Invidia midpipes, I would recommend buying them from Chris at TeamSNS (CL vendor). I have dealt with him many times and he's always given me the best deal. Excellent customer service and will do anything to make you happy.

If you are not ready to spend 650 for PPE headers, I would go with midpipes first and save the PPE headers after. If your purchase decision is based on money spend and HP/TQ gains, then it would be rational to go with the PPE headers.

I have the Invidia midpipes myself and see myself buying the PPE headers within the next month or two. Although the Invidia midpipes didn't really add much hp/tq, I try to maximize the exhaust flow and extract power here and there. After all, it all adds up and all the components work together.

Hope this helps! Good luck with your decision
